Videography

              Applied Health Sciences

This video is part of the University of Illinois' annual impact reports sent to donors. The intention of this project was to visually showcase AHS facilities while demonstrating the impact of private donations for individuals. I was solely responsible for every aspect of this project and finished this video as well as a copywriting assignment, from conception to completion, within two weeks, adhering to strict deadlines and working around the highly restrictive schedules of graduate students and facility accessible times.

I wrote questions for students and formulated new questions while interviewing them to prompt attention-grabbing answers, then filmed all the footage using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 DSLR, Audio-Technica shotgun mic, and Manfrotto tripod. I then edited the video using Adobe Premiere Pro. During the editing process, I cut down the videos to the length requested by my supervisor, prioritizing the most relevant answers given by students to create a cohesive narrative.

            UIUC Grainger College Fall 2023

I was tasked to collect this b-roll footage while working with the Grainger College of Engineering Marketing/Communications department. My goal was to capture video showcasing the beautiful fall season on Grainger's campus, to be used in longer videos and social media posts. I collected this footage using a Sony a7s III and gimbal and edited it in Premiere Pro.

       Kinesiology and Community Health

I created this video and several others as part of my University of Illinois Foundation internship. This video is intended to celebrate the accomplishments of the College of Kinesiology and Community Health and inform donors of the progress of the department. I worked within tight scheduling restrictions to interview department head Kim Graber, assist with the development of her script, and capture footage of a wide range of facilities within the department, each presenting unique challenges in regards to lighting, composition, and physical space.

                    I Do (original short)

This is a project I completed in response to a prompt for a class assignment. I pitched this idea to my peers, then co-wrote the script and shot list with a small team of my classmates. I scouted filming locations, operated a DSLR, and honed my communication skills by working with the actors and the rest of the crew.
